This process is safe to use around animals. This was a horse sanctuary in Lockford California suffering from a very bad ground squirrel problem. The main concern was for the animals safety they are heavy enough that the ground may cave a burrow or they may step in one and break a leg which typically is a fatal injury for these large animals. The horses were unfazed but very interested in what I was doing. The noise the machine makes sounds like a loud lawn mower.
