Today was a really productive day for me and the kids. Since it’s Easter weekend, we started the morning by going to Community Church at 9:30. They offered free breakfast, and the kids enjoyed some activities like a bubbles and face painting. Then they participated in their Easter egg hunt; both of them collected a lot of eggs, and thankfully there were more toys than candy!

After that, we went to Doughboy Donuts, and then to Learning Express to see the Easter Bunny and take some pictures. The kids also wanted to try the K-pop meal at McDonald’s, so we did (I would say not worth it but at least we tried it) Afterward, we headed straight to the Chocolate Nugget Factory, which I think was the highlight of the day. They had a playhouse, free pictures booth, as well as pictures with the bunny, and of course, another egg hunt.

We went home for a bit, then met up with some of the kids friends at the park. It was a really active day, and the kids said they had a great time.

The kids reunited with Kuya Miles, and they were so happy and excited to see him. My heart feels full and complete. Can you tell which one is my silly kid?

First adventure of 2026: sledding with the kids ❄️

Kicked off 2026 with a sledding day with the kids ❄️
They were so excited on the way and at our first spot. When we had to move to a different area… not so much 😅 a little complaining happened. But halfway through, they were laughing and having fun again.
We didn’t stay long because it was super windy, short trip, but overall it was a great day and the kids had fun.

Kids love opening gifts 🎁 🎁 🎁. We started a one-gift-a-day tradition in 2023, beginning five days before Christmas, then they open the rest on Christmas Day.
