💜 ADHD and autism aren’t “trendy.” They’re often missed, especially in women and people who learned to mask.
For years, so many of us were told we were:
😔 Too sensitive.
😡 Too difficult.
😵💫 Lazy.
📚 Smart but not applying ourselves.
😰 Just anxious.
💔 Too emotional.
🎭 “Normal enough.”
Meanwhile, we were quietly struggling, masking, overcompensating, and wondering why everything felt harder for us than everyone else.
Girls and women are often overlooked because their traits can look different:
🧠 Internalized hyperactivity.
📋 Perfectionism.
💬 Rehearsing conversations.
😴 Chronic burnout.
🤝 People-pleasing.
🎭 Masking and copying others.
💔 Rejection sensitivity.
✨ Whether you’re professionally diagnosed, self-identified, or still figuring things out, your experiences deserve to be explored with curiosity and compassion.
👇 Were you diagnosed as a child, diagnosed later in life, or are you still trying to understand your brain?
