ATTENTION NEW CAR BUYERS!!!
When you buy a new car, the worst thing you can do when it comes to protection is nothing. Most people assume that because a vehicle is new, it is already protected. The truth is, factory paint and surfaces are completely raw and vulnerable the moment that car leaves the lot. That shine you see under dealership lights is often temporary, created by fillers and glazes meant to make the paint look glossy for a quick sale. Underneath that, the clear coat is exposed and defenseless against UV rays, bird droppings, road salt, and environmental fallout.
Another huge mistake is letting the dealership apply their so-called paint protection package. These dealer packages are often nothing more than cheap waxes or low grade sealants that last a few weeks but are sold at premium prices. They do nothing to prevent swirl marks, oxidation, or long term damage. You end up paying thousands for what a professional detailer could outperform ten times over using true paint correction and ceramic coating or ICON ROCKLEAR processes.
Skipping paint protection is another costly mistake, especially for high impact areas like the hood, bumper, mirrors, and fenders. Rock chips and scratches do not care how new your car is. The first drive down the highway can leave permanent damage.
Your interior also needs attention. UV exposure fades leather, cracks dashboards, and weakens plastics. Without interior coatings, stains and dye transfer become nearly impossible to remove. A professional interior coating makes maintenance easier while preserving that brand new look for years to come.
