Hunting season means more deer are on the run and unfortunately running right into the path of traffic!! If you need a local rental for whatever reason, Econo Car Rental and Detail is here for you! Located at 7116 Lakeshore Rd, Lakeport Michigan, we offer local pickup and drop off services as well. Standard hours are Monday-Friday by appointment only with after hours and weekends available. Reservations required.

Required to rent:

✅Must be between the ages of 21 and 80 years old per my insurance

✅Must have your own auto insurance on your own personal vehicle with full coverage, comprehensive and collision, that covers the rental car

✅Must have a valid drivers license

✅Must have a credit or debit card for deposit. No prepay cards.

Over inflating your car tires cannot only be dangerous for the tire itself but it can cause driving and handling issues for the vehicle. Make sure to open the driver door and read the sticker for the PSI for the tires of that particular vehicle and inflate to that pressure recommendation.

Car in the shop and need to get to work? At Econo Car Rental and Detail LLC, we offer $300-325/weekly rentals, (7 days) for the local area, 100 mile radius of Port Huron. $100 deposit with credit or debit card. We've moved location and are now available by appt in either the north or south end of Port Huron. We also offer pick up and drop off as well as shuttle services. Currently must have own full coverage auto insurance to rent but option to purchase insurance through us for the rental period is coming soon!! Mon-Fri 9am-4:30pm. When I agreed to the lease on the office space for Town Center Insurance and Econo Car Rental and Detail, there were several promises made to me that were meant to encourage me to commit to my lease terms but did not end up coming forth. One of those was the road side sign for the plaza that I was told would be completely redone and my businesses could be advertised on the tall sign along with the other stores in the plaza. Over a year later and several lies & excuses, still no sign, which greatly has affected business as you can't see our businesses from the road being on the side of the building. About 95% of my customers had told me I needed a sign at the road as they didn't even know I was back there... The landlord has now opened his own Ace Hardware and took over the entire sign for his store and apparently the products in his store like Yeti Coolers and Benjamin Moore paints are more important than advertising our businesses because he put up signs for those products instead of allowing us to put up signs for our businesses. My lease carries an expense of $2500/mo plus utilities & insurance and for no sign, that's too much.

I have moved out of that location but Town Center Insurance Agency and Econo Car Rental and Detail LLC are still available to service all of your insurance, rental and detail needs. I am currently considering other building options with one being renovated and ready in October. I am also looking to purchase commercial property instead of leasing.
