Mold can be very dangerous and when this time of year rolls around we tend to clean, by cleaning mold you are disturbing their environment and since they are microscopic when they feel threatened and leave it’s much harder to find them. It is much smarter to cover the contaminated area with plastic sheeting about 3.5 to 6 mil. And adherence should be with painters tape first so when you apply your strip of duct tape it doesn’t peel the paint and now that temporary containment is in place go ahead and put a few thumbtacks in the top, because it is a moist area, the glue will break down on the back and your hard work will fall helplessly to the ground so the thumbtacks insure your containment will stay in place and then the very next step is to call a MOLD PROFFESIONAL ASAP!!!!!
