Over the weekend I worked on a vehicle where mold had spread throughout the interior — not just on the surface, but in multiple areas.

What most people don’t realize is mold doesn’t just grow where you can see it. Once moisture gets trapped inside a vehicle, it can spread into seams, under seats, in vents, and other hidden spaces.

Surface cleaning is important, but it’s only part of the solution.

In situations like this, I:
• Remove and clean visible mold
• Deep clean and sanitize affected areas
• Run an ozone treatment to help eliminate mold spores and odors — even in places you can’t see

If your car has a strong musty smell or you’ve had moisture sitting inside, it’s worth getting it checked before it spreads further.
