GREAT NEWS! The online portal to pay your sewage is active and ready to accept all forms of electronic payments. Please visit our website at MSSMA.US to access the portal at the bottom of the main screen under Sewer Bill Payment.
If you are using bill pay through your bank, please use the PO BOX 5060 address as listed on your statement as the payment address. Do not use the physical address for mailing your payments. All mailed payments must be addressed to the PO BOX. Checks and money orders can also be dropped off on Main Street by coming in to see us between 8am-4pm or utilizing our drop box to the left of the door at any time.

The Munhall Sanitary Sewer Municipal Authority ONLINE Payment and self-service portal will be operational on Monday, March 9th, 2026. The Authority is not assessing penalty, interest or late fees during this transition period. We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience during this transition period.

**UPDATE**
Good Morning Borough of Munhall! This information has been mailed to all Munhall Sanitary Sewer Authority Customers. MSSMA is preparing to send out the 1st Billing Cycle of 2026 sewage bills. Legal Tax Service (LTS) is no longer the Billing and Collecting agent for SEWAGE. LTS still bills and collects for Borough Trash collection. Please review the information below. If you have autopay or online bill pay, please look out for your 1st bill to update the payment information.

Dear Munhall Residents!

We’re happy to share some important—and positive—news about your sewage bills in 2026.

Starting in February 2026, the Munhall Sanitary Sewer Municipal Authority (MSSMA) will become your sewage billing provider, handling your SEWAGE accounts directly. The Authority will continue to work with LTS through this process to ensure a seamless transition for our sewer billing operations.

EDGE AI in Homestead is again working with MSSMA to complete video inspections and cleaning of approximately 55,000 LF of sanitary sewers. This 3rd Phase is being conducted within the "HOMESTEAD PARK" area of Munhall and should be complete by January 2025.

The Munhall Sanitary Sewer Municipal Authority proudly announces the we are the recipients of multiple grants supporting sanitary sewer and combined sewer enhancements. PA Small Water and Sewer grants will support new sewer installation on West Run Road and sewer rehabilitation in the Garden Plan. We have also secured two ALCOSAN-sponsored GROW project awards addressing source flow reduction and stormwater management through Green Infrastructure near the Library. Did you know that MSSMA has been awarded 2 separate GRANTS from the PA Small Water and Sewer fund? The 2 projects include a sewer rehabilitation project on West Run Road and a project in the Garden Plan of the Borough completing multiple repairs as a result from the 2022 CCTV project that occurred in the Garden Plan. Other grants in the works for GROW, DCED and others!
