Big news!
As all of our active customers were notified by email yesterday, Ohana Bin Wash has officially merged with The Bin Spa.
This transition comes after a relationship built on deep trust, shared values, and a mutual commitment to outstanding service. As the Ohana team steps into the next chapter of our lives, we are proud to pass the torch to Brendan Brown and his team at The Bin Spa—an experienced, veteran-led company we trust completely to care for our customers with excellence.
From all of us at Ohana, thank you from the bottom of our hearts for allowing us to serve your homes and families over the years. It’s been an honor, and we’re excited for the level of service you’ll continue to receive moving forward.
Below is a message from Brendan, The Bin Spa’s owner, sharing more about what’s ahead:
Aloha Ohana Bin Wash Family,
My name is Brendan Brown, and I’m honored and excited to introduce myself as the new owner of Ohana Bin Wash as we merge with The Bin Spa. I know change can bring questions, so I wanted to write you personally—not just to tell you what’s happening, but to share a bit about who I am, how this easy transition will work, and most importantly, what you can expect moving forward.
First off, I want to give a huge thanks to Jeff, Michael, and the rest of the Ohana team. They've become incredible friends and have built something truly special here. They didn’t take lightly the decision to pass the torch, and I’m incredibly grateful they trust me and my team to continue serving you. Our merger is rooted in that trust, and in the shared belief that we can take everything you already love—and make it even better.
A little about me: I graduated from West Point, where I played football and won a powerlifting national championship. After that, I served as an Air Defense Officer in the Army, working with the Patriot Missile System and choosing Fort Hood as my first duty station. That’s how I ended up falling in love with Central Texas and deciding to make it my home. After leaving the military, I knew I wanted to keep serving my community—but in a different way. I received my MBA from Louisiana State University to learn how to run a business, and then started The Bin Spa!
Since then, we’ve grown into a full-time, veteran-run operation. Our trucks are out cleaning bins every day across Bell and Williamson counties. Our team—from ownership to management to technicians—is made up entirely of veterans who take pride in doing things the right way. And while we might be “just a bin cleaning company” on the surface, for us it’s always been about doing the little things with excellence and being a business that people can count on. Externally, our focus is on impacting people and our community. Internally, we focus on logistics and operations, which allows us to take pride in our consistency, our standards of excellence, and our world class customer support—in which you always have direct access to me personally.
The Ohana name means a lot to me, too. My biological grandfather was Native Hawaiian, so taking on the Ohana Bin Wash family truly feels like it’s come full circle. That spirit of family, community, and care will always be part of what we do.
Starting December 1st, we’ll officially take over your service under The Bin Spa name. In practice, not much will change for you—we’ll still come the day after your trash and recycling pickup. We will still rotate each month on a four-week basis. Just leave your bins empty and visible, and our team will handle the rest, cleaning them thoroughly, deodorizing them, and returning them up your driveway when we’re done. We’re already preparing the transition behind the scenes so that it’s as smooth as possible for you.
That said, there are a few updates to help us continue to deliver our world class services:
Software & Billing: We’ll be transitioning to our software system, which means your payment info won’t be carried over. After your next service, you’ll just need to re-enter your card if you want to stay on autopay. You’ll also start getting automated reminders from our system—still the same schedule, just with a new number.
Contact Info: You can now reach us at (254) 277-2999 or email me directly, anytime, at [email protected]. I’m always happy to answer questions or help however I can.
Logistics: We will still schedule your services the day after both your trash and recycling have been picked up. If we are off your recycling schedule by a week, please call and let us know so we can change you. To ensure a successful service, just leave your bins empty and visible from the road prior to our arrival.
Pricing: In order to continue providing the level of service and professionalism we’ve built our reputation on, we’ll be updating service pricing to match our standard rates: $29 monthly, $34 bi-monthly, and $39 quarterly (our best value and even less than what you are paying now)
*All of these prices include the second bin for free.
A Thank You: I just want to say thank you again for allowing us to step in and continue the service you've come to count on. I know how personal it can feel to have someone new come into your home routine—even if it’s just your trash bins—and I don’t take that lightly.
We’re truly grateful for the opportunity to serve you, and we’re committed to making sure you feel that appreciation every time we show up. If you ever have a question, concern, or just want to give feedback, my door (and inbox) is always open.
Also, if you ever refer a friend, neighbor, or family member to The Bin Spa and they sign up and mention your name, your next cleaning is on us. It’s just our way of saying thank you for helping us grow through great people like you.
Thank you again for being part of this journey. We’re proud to carry the Ohana torch forward.
