2026 Statement from Nathaniel Reed
Every year hands us a different kind of fire. Some years it’s frustration, some years it’s loss, and some years it’s the kind of controversy that tests the weight of a man’s character. But what I’ve learned — what I know now — is that pressure doesn’t break you when your foundation is built on purpose.
This year, I’m choosing to excel through every ounce of adversity thrown my way. Not by pretending things are perfect, not by glossing over the tough days, but by standing firm in who I am, the family I come from, and the God who carries me further than my own strength ever could.
Controversy doesn’t scare me. It sharpens me. It forces clarity. It cuts away the unnecessary and reveals what’s real — discipline, integrity, hard work, and that stubborn Reed grit that refuses to fold.
I’m stepping into this year with my head up, my hands steady, and my heart anchored. I’m ready to build more, learn more, love deeper, lead with intention, and walk in a way that honors the legacy before me and the people beside me.
If the year throws flames, fine. I’ve walked through worse with less. I’ll take every challenge, every setback, every misunderstanding and stack it into something that looks like growth, purpose, and momentum.
This year, we don’t just survive controversy —
we excel through it.
We turn it into fuel.
We turn it into progress.
We let it make us unshakeable.
