So I've been working on this diawa coastal reel, once the reel is ready to cast it won't let the clutch be disengaged for casting, you can't even push the thumb bar down . The plate that the clutch trip lever rides on has a divot in it that locks the trip lever in place ( #2) the trip lever has a ridge on it #3 due to a good in production I suppose. Well I finally took apart one of my other reels changed the parts over. It works great now
