How to Make a Natural Roach Repellent
When spring is in full swing, and summer is just around the corner. Insects arrive and start invading our homes uncontrollably.
As the days get warmer, roaches and cockroaches get closer. But why do they invade our homes in the summer? In reality, these insects are active all year round.
Between March and April, however, most of their eggs hatch and, therefore, during the spring and summer, they are particularly active. They move around the city and in the wettest and warmest areas looking for something to eat.
We often find these insects in the trash or coming out of the drains of showers, toilets, bidets, and sinks. Sometimes it is very difficult to prevent them from invading our homes, even if we can protect ourselves by putting into practice some precautions.
First of all, we need to close any passage from the plumbing system to our home and then remove any food residue. Whenever we cook, we should clean immediately and we cannot leave the bag full of food scraps in the trash.
Fortunately, however, there is a remedy that we are sure will be effective against these insects. It is a natural repellent.
Roach Repellent with Vinegar
Today we offer you an amazing solution that works against various types of insects, especially roaches and cockroaches. It is a vinegar repellent against roaches, which you can make directly at home.
The advantage of this insecticide is that you will spend a few cents to prepare it. So forget about spending a lot of money on effective but expensive chemical products.
Another advantage is related to pollution. This repellent is made only with natural ingredients, which do not pollute. In addition, it is not harmful to health as many of the insecticides, which contain chemicals that are sometimes even dangerous to humans.
What you will have to do is go to your pantry and look for the bottle of vinegar, which we are sure you already have at home. Pour a few tablespoons of this liquid into a bowl, where you will also put a little water. Then you can pour a few drops of your favorite essential oil.
We also recommend adding a few drops of natural floor cleaner if you think your surfaces need more attention. Otherwise, only the ingredients we listed would be enough.
Dip the mop in the container and proceed with cleaning the surface. Roaches and cockroaches do not tolerate the smell of vinegar and tend to move away from any area where you have spilled it.
Precisely for this reason, we recommend using this ingredient whenever possible and in all corners of your home.
