Welp. This is the largest, and heaviest sofa I have ever tackled solo. Not really a sectional as it is ONE PIECE but basically a sectional. It fills my entire upholstery space 🥲

One hour of tear down in 30 seconds. Probably 2-3 more hours of demo to go ✌️

Pleats for days !!

What makes this before and after so dramatic? Not just the fabric!

New foam, interior repair, dacron, more foam, more dacron. There’s so many unseen layers that go into the finished look and functionality of a piece.

I love how the oversized brass nail heads pop on this fabric 😍

What have I been working on this week?! 🤭
I have been so excited to share this big news with all of you, I could barely stand it!

Owning a small business is scary. But it’s the risks you take that lead you to the big stuff. The do what you love stuff. The life you live stuff.

My busy little upholstery business (Leah Ureche Upholstery) that I started out of my garage and steadily grew is now

I leased a space. I’ve been fixing it up with the help of my incredible Mom & teenage daughter all this week getting it ready for all of you wonderful people 🫶

Ureche Upholstery & Home will no longer just be offering furniture upholstery, though of course this is still the primary work of my hands.
