I don’t always get the opportunity to see firsthandedly the moment they see how a memory came to life on a piece of paper. A simple joy that keeps me doing what I do. It’s about the people, the memory, the treasure. I met Cheyanne Sartin the week before her wedding at McAlister's Deli to grab a bite to eat and to hand these off. Gifts for her mom, her dad, and her officiant to say “thank you for getting me to this moment and for being a part of it.” It was a joy to hear from each of them at her wedding later that week how much those gifts meant when she gave them. I love her heart for her people and Sam and I loved to be a part of an extension of her and Gage’s love for her people as we illustrated her guests at Spain Ranch - Tulsa Wedding Venues a while back. What a meaningful thing to be a part of!

OKC/Edmond—Sam is ready to serve and create! It has been a dream to be able to scale this business in ways that allow “A Call To Create” to serve more people, in more places, and to allow other “creatives” to explore and experience the joy of creating meaningful and lasting keepsakes for others! I am thrilled with this addition and the start of a dream that’s becoming a real reality for this brand and business!

Meet Sam! She has always had a knack for creativity. As someone who is unafraid to take a stab at anything, she has a confidence in how and what she creates. As someone who values attention to detail, every sketch truly is created with intention and focus. Her ability to see the best parts of people and bring those aspects to life on paper are sure to illicit smiles, emotion, leave people giddy when someone sees what she creates. I am thrilled to introduce her as part of the “A Call To Create” team!! And what better time to do it than on her birthday?! She embodies our core values of meaningful connection, warm interactions, and creating things that allow a memory to last for more than a moment. 🤍🤍🤍

Sam is passionate about people and is eager to serve and create for the OKC/Edmond and surrounding areas! We have a few on the calendar, but her books are open and ready to be filled with clients who want to provide an opportunity for their guests to experience something like they never have experienced before! A bit of vendor love coming your way—This team nailed an intentionally planned event for 30th birthday soirée! Here’s what I loved and remembered most about this event that was several months ago…

🍕 It’s thoughtfully unique design along with perfect ex*****on
🍕 The food that still has me salivating from looking at the shots .co captured.
🍕The toasts, speeches and love showered over the girl who was quite literally “doesn’t know how to not love” as quoted by her sweet husband.
🍕Vendor relationships that were able to be cultivated with the intimacy and slow paced nature of this event.
🍕The florals, the color, the furniture. The signage. It quite literally transformed the space.
🍕 How things felt and not just how they looked. That’s when you know you pulled something really wonderful off.

This one will forever live rent free in my mind. Let’s do it again sometime?

Oklahoma July weddings are destined to be spicy! ☀️ 😅These precious souls actually handed and I a hand fan to share at the wedding of and Gage held at and I don’t think I’ve ever felt so seen. 😂😂 Adding a handful of these fans along with extra batteries to my bag of supplies and forever remembering the generosity of this Mom/Daughter duo who came 1000% prepared for this Oklahoma heat!

And here’s to seeing a need and meeting it if we can, because why the heck not?! We interacted with some of the most kind guests last night and sketched SO many people! 😍
