Keep them dry! The lids that is. Except for my budget line, the Ball Vintage Colors Line with Classic 2-piece top, all of my other lids come coated with a rust resistant black finish. Rust-resistant does not mean rust-proof so your best bet for having long lasting Mason Jar Dispensers is keeping the top dry. When 'rust-proof' jars are manufactured I will definitely switch to those for all of my collections. Another trick i tell people is to not screw the lid on all the way, leave a little room. That way even if you do continue to get it wet it will have a chance to dry out. Michelle's mason jar dispensers come in many different collections.. The French Farmhouse Collection is where Michelle's Masons all started. And although these mason jars are French, and purchased internationally, the craft is local. I hand paint, hand distress and hand assemble the tops, here in Tennessee, and after a 2 week production process they are ready to dispense whatever you desire to put in them. That includes, but is not limited to, hand soap, dish soap, hand sanitizer, body wash, lotion, shampoo, conditioner and laundry detergent. There are no two alike. You can choose a more distressed or less distressed finish and a shiny or matte finish as well. Custom colors are also available. The hand painting is completely done on the outside of the jar so you need not worry about paint leaching into your consumables. This collection comes in 2 sizes: Original which holds 16oz. And Grand which holds 32oz. Both come in a standard color of an ivory base and black top. Custom orders are accepted and welcomed and come with an upcharge and longer lead time for production. Color choice must be approved and deposit placed before production begins. Your custom design will be released when product is paid in full.
