I’m excited to officially announce that I am running for Lafayette County Collector!
I was born and raised on a small family farm in rural Wellington. After graduating from Wellington-Napoleon and earning my bachelor’s degree from UCM, my husband Ryan and I spent several years traveling while he served in the Army. That season of life taught us resilience, and reminded us there’s truly no place like home.
We returned to Lafayette County to raise our son surrounded by the same small-town values that shaped us.
My career has been built on public service, government financial operations, and fiscal responsibility. At the Lafayette County Sheriff’s Office, I was entrusted with managing finances and government funds, where accuracy, accountability, and attention to detail were essential every day. Today, as a legal assistant, I continue working with complex records, strict deadlines, and the same commitment to accuracy and responsibility that public service demands.
In 2023, I opened a brick-and-mortar boutique in Lexington. That experience has given me the opportunity to meet people from every corner of Lafayette County, listen to their stories, and build lasting relationships.
The Collector’s Office carries tremendous responsibility. It requires integrity, accountability, and a commitment to serving every resident with respect. Throughout my career, I’ve been trusted to manage public resources responsibly, and I will bring that same commitment to serving the people of Lafayette County.
It would be an honor to earn your trust and your vote in the August Republican Primary.
