If you find a tick attached, how you remove it matters more than most people realize.

✔️ Use fine-tip tweezers
✔️ Grab the tick as close to the skin (mouth area) as possible
✔️ Pull straight out with steady, even pressure

Avoid squeezing the body or twisting—this can increase the chance of the tick releasing harmful bacteria into your body.

🚨 Bagworms Hitting Evergreens Hard 🚨
If you’ve noticed your evergreens turning brown like this 👇, you might be dealing with Evergreen Bagworm Moths.
🟤 The larvae build camouflaged “bags” made of twigs and needles (see the quarter-size one in the photo).
🌲 They feed aggressively on arborvitae, cedar, spruce, and other evergreens, stripping foliage and leaving trees stressed or dead.
⚠️ Once bagworm populations get established, damage can spread quickly through entire rows of trees.
👉 We’re out treating locally right now. The best time to stop them is while the larvae are still active—before they seal up for the season.
