Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Pool Service Technician to join our team at Southern Pool and Patio. As a Pool Service Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and servicing pools to ensure they are clean, safe, and in optimal condition. Your attention to detail and excellent technical skills will be crucial in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
Perform regular maintenance and cleaning of pools, including skimming, vacuuming, and chemical balancing.
Inspect and troubleshoot pool equipment, such as pumps, filters, and heaters, and perform necessary repairs or replacements.
Test water quality and adjust chemical levels as required to maintain proper balance and sanitization.
Detect and resolve pool and equipment issues promptly to prevent further damage or safety hazards.
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries, concerns, and requests in a professional and courteous manner.
Keep accurate records of pool maintenance activities, including service reports, inventory, and customer information.
Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements:
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Previous experience as a Pool Service Technician or in a similar role is recommended, but not required, we will train the right candidate.
Strong knowledge of pool maintenance techniques, water chemistry, and pool equipment.
Ability to diagnose and repair pool equipment issues effectively.
Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Ability to lift heavy equipment and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
Pool and spa certifications (e.g., CPO) are a plus. If hired, CPO training and certifications will be provided.
