Yesterday in the neighborhood, we discovered a young eagle that did not look well. We captured him and this morning we dropped him off with a volunteer from the Raptor Center. We were told that based on how he’s behaving, he looks to be suffering from West Nile Virus. It’s apparently been hitting the juvenile raptors really hard this year. We’re hoping for a speedy recovery for him and he can be back to soaring the skies soon. ❤️🤍💙
