Happy Indigenous Peoples’ Day! ❤️

Minnesota is home to 11 federally recognized Tribal Nations, including Dakota and Ojibwe (Anishinaabe) peoples.

Growing up in Minnesota, we spent countless hours outdoors exploring. My aunt introduced us to Indigenous cultures and their deep knowledge of the land, plants, wildlife, and natural resources. Those experiences sparked my love of nature and a curiosity that has stayed with me ever since.

I’ve spent much of my life exploring Minnesota, learning about its landscapes, plants, and history. That appreciation for the natural world has shaped how we live, the values we share as a family, and how we run our business.

There’s so much knowledge rooted in the land around us, and so much we can continue to learn from the Indigenous peoples who have cared for it for generations. ❤️

We’re so blessed to have places like Voyageurs National Park right here in Minnesota. 🌲

Our family snuck away for a few days up north to explore by boat, hike, and spend some much-needed time outside together.

Public lands like these are worth exploring and protecting for the generations that come after us.

So get out there. 💚 Whether it’s a National Park or your favorite little patch of nature close to home, there’s so much to explore.
