A few weeks ago at SEJ University, we brought leaders together from across our organization to learn, connect, and grow.

We talked a lot about what it really means to lead as one team—built on a sense of brotherhood and sisterhood. No matter where we are, it’s about having each other’s backs and growing together.

Then we put it into action with our Egg Drop Challenge. Teams had to think strategically, work together, and make the most of what they had. Some succeeded—but one team proved that great leadership isn’t about having more, it’s about using what you have wisely.

The best part? Strengthening the relationships that make our team better every day.

A few weeks ago, our team returned from the 2025 BSCAI Contracting Success Conference in Las Vegas feeling energized and inspired. The event brought together building service contractors from across the country for a great mix of learning, connection, and new ideas.

One of the highlights for us: our President, Chris Abel, co-led a session on “The Heart of Retention,” focusing on what truly keeps teams engaged — genuinely caring for the people who power your business. It’s a message that aligns closely with who we are at SEJ.

From the educational sessions to the networking events and time on the ISSA Show floor, the week gave us fresh perspectives and practical takeaways we’re excited to bring back to our clients and team.
