Truth is, I do it for the moms.
The busy moms. The working moms. The exhausted moms. The moms carrying more than anyone knows.
The other day at pickup, I met a sweet mama with five kiddos running around on summer break. There was laughter, chaos, questions, and little feet everywhere. Yet she handled it all with such grace.
On my way to deliver her seats, I felt the nudge to do something just for her. I sent a simple text and snagged her go-to coffee order.
It reminded me that sometimes the smallest acts of kindness can be the hands and feet of Jesus.
Our children are one of our greatest ministries. The little eyes watching us, the hearts we’re shaping, the prayers we’re praying over them each night…this work matters. Even on the hard days. Especially on the hard days.
So today, encourage a mama. Tell her she’s doing a good job. Buy her a coffee. Drop off a meal. Send the text. Say the prayer.
Motherhood may feel ordinary some days, but kingdom work often happens in the ordinary moments.
Keep going, mamas.🤎🌱
