If you have a chimney, skylight, or a large vent on your roof, it can act like a dam. When it rains, water rushes down your roof and slams right into the back of that structure, creating a pool of standing water. Since standing water is a roof’s worst enemy, we install crickets (also called saddles) to solve the problem!

A cricket is a custom-built, triangular mini-roof constructed right behind the obstruction. It acts like the bow of a ship, splitting the water and forcing it to flow smoothly around the sides and straight down into your gutters.
