Have you ever heard of a color catcher? They look like a dryer sheet, but they go in with the wash instead of the dryer! They absorb any loose dyes that come off of the clothes during the wash. Although I do sort the clothes into separate loads for lights and darks, I still throw one of these in with every load, just in case. The one on the left is a new, unused color catcher. The other two have been used and did a great job protecting the clothes from loose dyes!
