20 years as a pro makeup artist taught me more about life, women, and confidence than any textbook ever could…
Here’s what I’ve learned — and how I use it now to help women feel beautiful from the inside out:
💋1. Makeup artistry is intimacy
In 60 minutes or less, a woman sits in my chair, shares her insecurities, her dreams, her stress, her story.
I’ve learned how to listen deeply. Not just to words, but to body language, energy, tone.
💋2. Most women don’t want to look perfect
They want to look like themselves, just a little more confident.
They want to feel seen.
That taught me: beauty isn’t about changing who you are — it’s about revealing the best parts of who you’ve always been.
💋3. The mirror is a truth-teller and a liar
I’ve watched women light up when they see themselves once I’ve done my thing — and others who can’t see their own radiance no matter how much we enhance.
That disconnect? It’s internal. That’s been a big reason for this entry into confidence coaching.
💋4. Communication is an art form
Sometimes it’s not “the wrong foundation” — it’s a woman not knowing how to ask for what she truly wants.
I’ve learned to ask better questions. Now I teach women to do the same for themselves,to lay a foundation for the inner self.
💋5. Problem-solving on a wedding day is like running a 3 ring circus in heels.
Torn dresses, late timelines, black outs, meltdowns- you name it I’ve seen it.
You learn to stay grounded and calm no matter what — a skill I now pass on to my clients when life gets messy.
💋6. Being up-close and personal with 1000+ women has taught me this:
We’re all carrying something.
And we all want to feel safe, worthy, and beautiful — in our own skin, our own story, our own mind.
💋7. Now I use my artist’s eye a little differently.
Not just to highlight cheekbones — but to help women see themselves clearly.
To untangle old beliefs, shift their self-image, and express who they really are — no filter needed.
💋8. I don’t just help women “put themselves together.”
I help them put themselves FIRST.
Because real beauty shines brightest when a woman feels grounded, joyful, and proud of her own reflection — inside and out.
