Oakwood Youth Group provided College Care Kits for our 5 college students again this year. Meeting at our local store to purchase all the items from funds raised by this group we shopped and each student was blessed with a laundry basket full of college necessities!! We had a great day and reunited the youth and remembered what it is to give of our time and talents to others! We know that Kelsey, Tanner, Desirae, Emma, and Emma all appreciated and enjoyed the welcome back to school care kits! God Bless them in the upcoming year!
Thanks to this amazing group of devoted kids! Jacob, Blake, Liz, Madison, Nevaeh & Ali!!! We are so blessed to have you as our Oakwood Youth Group!

We are so thankful for our past Oakwood Angels! We will never forget all the contributions their contributions to our youth group and all their vested time! So 10/18 we will put together 'College Care Kits' for our post-secondary Angels! Bring anything you want to add to the Angels bags!

Oakwood Youth are kicking off the year building care kits for our College kids this year so if you have anything you would like to contribute to our College students we know they LOVE getting a care kit from the Oakwood Angels! In the past, we have filled the kit in the past with recycled grocery bags, microwave popcorn, gum, mints, small snack bags of pretzels, Cheetos, etc; fruit snacks, mechanical pencils, sample (hotel size) shampoo/ conditioner; laundry detergent, soap, dry food for 'add water and microwave', paperclips, lace (for book markers), candy/ nuts, crystallite, granola bars, index cards, cards, stamps, water bottles etc. Be creative :-) We are collecting as much stuff as possible until October 18! Drop them off at Oakwood United Methodist Church!
