Job description:
Job Title: Auto Service Technician
Summary: We are seeking a skilled and reliable Auto Service Technician to join our team, responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles, ensuring customer satisfaction through efficient and high-quality service.
Responsibilities:
Diagnosis and Repair:
• Accurately diagnose vehicle problems using diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks.
• Repair and replace mechanical and electrical components.
• Document all work performed and recommended on repair orders.
• Dismount, mount and balance tires.
• Must be trainable.
• Must have valid driver’s license, social security card and be a US Citizen.
Customer Service:
• Communicate effectively with customers regarding vehicle issues and repairs.
• Provide accurate estimates for repair costs.
• Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor at all times.
Shop Operations:
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Ensure proper use and care of tools and equipment.
• Adhere to safety procedures and regulations.
Other Duties:
• Stay current with industry knowledge and advancements.
• Participate in training programs and events.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
This person must have a professional presentation and be able to maintain a clean professional presentation.
Tools and toolbox are a plus but not required.
Two to 3 years experience preferred.
