Sometimes it takes a minute for me to understand the forms that evolve in my work. This recent collage was a bit of a battle to find itself. But it’s simultaneous heaviness and quick flip of levity feel spot on for my current headspace.

In the midst of all of the chaos happening all around these days- we need to force joy up and out to keep our sanity even if it somehow doesn’t feel appropriate.

I’m grateful to live in New Orleans and have the cathartic escape into carnival. I need it. We allllll need it.

When I resurface after Ash Wednesday - this baby is high on the list for my new group of paintings 💫

It’s been wonderful to read everyone’s year end recaps and messages of gratitude. 2025 was a year of momentum, opportunities, and great support for my work. I felt seen and challenged. I’m incredibly grateful to everyone that has been a part of that journey. 2026 will be a year full of a new kind of focus for me. I’ve cleaned and reset the studio, I’ve been journaling and asking deep questions about my work and practice.
The last couple of years my work jumped to the left and it’s been amazing to find my voice. These words are resonating with me as I enter this new year, this new beginning with a great sense of purpose-
*You’re not searching anymore - you are steering.*
May we all have a beautiful New Year filled with calm clarity and peace.

I can’t believe it’s the last couple of weeks for Rupture and Bloom. I am so grateful to everyone for their trust and support of my work.

The exhibition runs through December 27,2025. If you won’t have a chance to see the show in person the museum has printed a beautiful catalog that can be purchased directly through the museum.

My favorite pic from my solo show Rupture and Bloom

This piece is called The Rapture of Regeneration. It is almost 10 feet wide and tall. Working at these large scales, I mount collaged and painted forms to multiple floating panels, pushing beyond rectangular boundaries to create works that seem to burst outward from internal pressure. The works in this show speak to both personal transformation and the larger cycles of breakdown and renewal we witness in the world around us.

The exhibition runs through December 29.

Rapid Intensification, 2025

I wanted to create a piece that had a more vertical format. The vortex -from the psychological to natural and physical phenomena encapsulated an intensity that held opportunities for me to explore.

The title is a term meteorologists use that we never want to hear when tracking severe storms, but it perfectly describes that feeling of when deep emotions (good or bad) spiral up through our core and completely overwhelm our being in an instant.

Love and rage are equal. Destruction and rebirth are linked.

This piece is on view in my solo show TEMPESTA in NY until November 30.
