Had a great day catching some slabs in between tons of smallies. It was a pelican kind of morning. Saw no other diving birds. Stiff NW winds and messy water outside Hopedale. Resorted to the cleaner(and salty!)waters inside and found some nicer fish. Have your net ready. We missed a couple solid trout at the boat being memorized by all the small ones! Most caught 3 to 5 feet under cork, live and plastics.
