Sometimes it’s not just crumbs and sticky messes hiding in car seats. 👀

This week during a cleaning, I found several pieces of glass throughout a child’s car seat.

When I reached out to the mama, she explained that someone had previously broken into her vehicle and shattered the window and apparently glass had made its way into the seat without anyone realizing just how much was trapped inside.

It was such a good reminder that car seats can hold onto more than we think:
✨ crumbs
✨ spilled milk
✨ sand
✨ pet hair
✨ bacteria
✨ and sometimes even hidden safety hazards

These little spaces are hard to fully inspect and clean on your own, especially deep inside the fabric and crevices.

When I was creating Petite Seats Co., I knew I wanted the brand to feel soft, calm, safe, and welcoming for families.

But the colors I chose mean even more to me than that.

The blue and yellow throughout our branding were chosen to represent Down syndrome… for my son, Richard. 💛💙

Richard is such a special part of our family, and I wanted a little piece of him woven into this business from the very beginning.

Every logo, every tag, every detail carries meaning for me, and these colors are a quiet reminder of the little boy who inspired so much of my heart behind this business. ✨

Petite Seats Co. was built with love, compassion, and the understanding that every child deserves care, safety, and kindness.

At first glance, this seat just looked a little worn, but once we got to work, the difference was incredible.

This is exactly why I started Petite Seats Co. because life with little ones is messy, busy, beautiful and sometimes our car seats need a fresh start too.
