I started my day with a delicious breakfast and then proceeded to start on my new landscape project.

All day I couldn’t stop thinking about supper because for the last few weeks, I have been working long hours and grabbing something to eat out out the door isn’t that easy. I don’t eat fast food so sometimes it’s difficult to eat what I can find so I eventually have to wait until dinner before I can eat.

For several weeks I have been waiting weeks to cook my favorite upper northern food back from my home in Madison, Wisconsin brats!

As a child, I used to volunteer my time in the summer to cook these famous bratwurst now cook them as a comfort food with my homemade purple cabbage, sauerkraut, onions, and jalapeños with just a light drizzle of honey balance is out the heat from the peppers, the sweetness from the onions the tart in tanginess of the sauerkraut.

This has to be my number one top favorite food!

Finished it off with a dirty soda for dessert and ended it with a sunset on the carport.

Days off have to come to an end sooner or later but time spent in relaxation is short but fulfilling.
