Billed as the ultimate streak free glass cleaner. The science says the combination of wetting agents and evaporating surfactants improve both process and finish
TESTING says this; it cleans well and it smells of strength… What do you see? THE FINISH. Everyone goes through the same hell with the process; it’s painful, rarely rewarding, and ridiculed on par with polishing work that’s not been processed at a reasonable level
Does OPTIC clean well? YES. Does OPTIC finish? It’s an effortless finish. Yes you are checking, yes you may have a spot or two to touch, but the obnoxiously long & thankless process is gone
Speaking of Process: wear nitrile gloves, pick a solid glass cleaner like OPTIC, have a cleaning towel and a finishing towel (can be the same towel type)

I have used plenty of glass cleaner over the years. Yes yes, it cleans glass well. The science with this option brings wetting agents and evaporating surfactants to clean well and knock out streaking issues
THE REAL thing that has happened in testing is finishing glass. OPTIC has saved me real time in the checking process, I see far less need to dry scrub glass with a microfiber to get everything perfect. Where I would rely on a microsuede towel (my little secret, and I have a source for them), I need nothing more. A touch up here and there maybe, but the process is no longer a pure living hell to clean AND finish glass

Obviously, this is acidic. Initial tests have been using it like a quick detailer of sorts to wipe out some easy stuff, increasing dwell time on hard hit areas to see what it can do, and will also be testing on titanium as well as some coated polished lips on. Each time it’s used, I’m pushing to see how it stacks up against 2 other products. So far it hits, we will see how it does on some sketchier finishes

Carbon Collective has had Refresh Shampoo in the works for a while now. If you’ve got a ceramic coating on your paint, 2 years can click by quick. It’s easy to blame the coating if it’s not beading water like when first installed, or opt to Si02 load your panels to ‘fix it’
A clogged ceramic has trashy performance, and its environmental buildup at fault most times
Refresh solves that in most cases. You may not need it to maintain your ceramic all the time, and the other benefit of an acidic shampoo is that you strip & prep prior to polishing paint as well
You can foam this on as a prep, I prefer the bucket shampoo method going panel by panel to unclog a ceramic - this applies to two areas of your work, and it does both very well as all things made by
