Downtown Conway has transformed into a Halloween wonderland for October! Between the decorations, local shops, restaurants, and spooky atmosphere, it’s a great time to visit and support our neighbors in Conway.
🎃 BOOFEST AT BAREFOOT LANDING — SATURDAY!
Bring the kids and their Halloween costumes! This Saturday, October 24, Barefoot Landing is hosting BooFest with costume contests for different age groups, including a pet costume contest at 3 PM!
🎬 A free showing of Hocus Pocus is also scheduled for 7 PM.
🪁 GRAND STRAND KITE FESTIVAL — THIS WEEKEND!

The 9th Annual Grand Strand Kite Festival is scheduled for Saturday and Sunday at the Point in Cherry Grove!
🕚 11 AM–4 PM each day
Expect colorful kites, impressive displays, and a beautiful coastal setting.
🎃 NORTH MYRTLE BEACH HALLOWEEN BOONANZA
Another family-friendly event is happening Saturday from 5–8 PM at the North Myrtle Beach Park and Sports Complex!
There will be trick-or-treating, games, inflatables, music, and Halloween fun for the kids!
🎤 TONIGHT’S COMMUNITY SPOTLIGHT
Hard Rock Cafe Myrtle Beach is hosting Pinktober Karaoke for a Cause tonight from 5–8 PM.
A suggested $5 donation supports the American Cancer Society’s Making Strides Against Breast Cancer campaign.
A little music, a little fun, and a good cause! 💗

Before the Grand Strand became famous for vacation homes and high-rise hotels, many coastal communities were small fishing villages and quiet stretches of shoreline.
