My Dad went home yesterday, praise the Lord! Keep praying for him to feel all the way better and be back to himself. Thank you all so much for sending prayers and messages!

Thank you everyone for your continued thoughts and prayers for my Dad. He still has a few hurdles to clear—the steroid medication for his lungs has raised his blood pressure, and he’s still dealing with some confusion. We would so appreciate your continued prayers for his recovery.

My Dad, Mark Schuler, is still at Morrison Hospital, some of you knew already, he had aspiration pneumonia and a very bad infection. The lungs look clear on xray and the infection isnt showing up anymore. He still has low a oxygen level breathing on his own so he has to stay in the hospital until he can go off oxygen. He is also very tired from being sick. If you can spare a prayer for him we would be very grateful. This is the 3rd Valentines Day in four years he has been admitted. Not a very lucky holiday for him, but grateful to go spend the holiday with him. He also somehow managed to buy my mom some Valentine's Day gifts and a card. 😉

Today was one of those days that reminds me why I’m here. I finally got to surprise Elisha—the 'Dancing Lady' by Casey’s—with a pair of brand new orange and pink Nikes and some wireless earbuds. Now, she has the support she needs to keep moving, and the earbuds mean she can dance her heart out without worrying about noise ordinance tickets. After the three years of hell I’ve walked through, I’ve made it my mission to spread as much joy as I can. Seeing her smile today was everything.
