Spiffy in a Jiffy: Quick Tips for Tidying up- Living Room
Surprise! Unexpected company is coming over soon and you aren’t prepared. How do you make the living room look presentable in a flash? Follow our quick 5-step guide for tricking anybody into thinking you’re a regular June Cleaver ;-) Or just give us a call: 251-274-0088

1. Clear all flat surfaces of clutter: Swipe and scoop if you must just get that junk outta sight. Place it in a room where guests won’t look and label it as a problem for future you.

2. Spot dust all visible surfaces: Baby wipes, Clorox wipes, Pledge wipes, or even just a paper towel moistened with the sweat of your own nervous brow will do.

3. Sweep or vacuum: We don’t like to make sweeping statements but, even though this chore sucks, it makes a big difference…Did you see what we did there?

4. Tend to the smell: From oils to sprays, there are many options to make your place smell like a tropical paradise… Or bake some cookies. Who doesn’t love that smell?

5. Add artful finishing touches: Any room looks nicer with a bowl of fresh lemons or a vase of pretty flowers. Channel your inner designer and get fabulous, darling!

J&S Cleaning is proud to support and participate in the Shop Local Campaign sponsored by our local Southwest County Mobile Chamber of Commerce at the Small Business Luncheon on Wednesday. It was a special treat to hear words of wisdom and encouragement from Drew Harrell, from the Alliance for Alabama’s Infrastructure.
