Jan. 4th is national trivia day! So here is some laundry facts for you!

1. 70% of dirt on your clothes is invisible.
Think those jeans are clean? May want to think again. After a few wears your clothes may still look fine, but according to scientists what's making them dirty isn't necessarily dirt. It's "human matter" like dead skin cells, sweat, natural body oils and also products like lotions, deodorant and soap. Which leads us to fact 2...

2. You perspire about 6 litres of sweat a day
Ewwww - but true. The average adult on a normal day produces around 6 litres of perspiration (half through our feet... can anyone say 'stinky socks'!). It keeps going while we sleep, at the rate of at least 1 litre every night (consider that if you're a bit slack on changing the bed sheets).

3. Fragrance sensitivities are on the rise
Chemical sensitivities to artificial fragrances and perfumes appear to be increasing - a study out of the University of Georgia found that over 30 percent of participants had headaches, breathing difficulties or other problems when exposed to perfumes on others, 19% had issues with air fresheners and 1 in 10 were irritated by fragranced laundry products.

4. The first washing machine was called 'Thor'
The first mass-marketed electric one, that is, developed in 1908. The very first washing machine was invented in 1782 by H. Sidgier.

5. Dryers have only been around 200 years
And they weren't a household item until well into the 1960's due to prohibitive cost - in 1950 they cost about $1600 in today's money terms.

6. ... However, Ironing was a thing 1000 years ago
Flattening fabrics with hot pieces of metal was a technique first introduced in Ancient China.

7. Astronauts incinerate their un**es!
First they try to re-use them (for up to a week)

8. Detergent was invented due to a soap shortage

This review was posted by a GREAT customer a few weeks ago. We are still a small business trying to grow, but customers like this make it so much more enjoyable!

This is a new service to Milton (if you are near milton you would have to ask them what their service area around Milton is).

I began using them the week before Thanksgiving in a last minute "HELP ME" fiasco to get all of my college kids linens washed before they returned home on break.

VERY responsive to the million and one questions I had. Polite, courteous, patient and professional in communication via FB messenger where I first reached out and via text.

They are able to accommodate using special detergents/fabric softener if you have special need for them to do so, you would just have to send it along with your laundry, however they do already use Free and Clear products which was phenomenal for my family and some of us with sensitive skin.

Pick up was done from my front porch in a sturdy laundry bag they dropped off. Clothes dropped off right back to my porch both at times that were specified. They have small netted bags for delicate if needed as well.

Upon return, the linens were folded, held together by a plastic wrap so the fold held in transport, fresh linen tag in the bag that kept clothes smelling fresh, linens were smelling AND visibly clean, and nothing was missing upon return!

They have MULTIPLE affordable options!!

I decided to use this service for the next 6 months, which has my laundry picked up on specified day and time, and returned 2 days later. I went with unlimited and can have up to 8 of their large laundry bags done per week. I have had 2 weekly services completed so far, and I AM BEYOND HAPPY with this service and the extra time it allows me in a day to get other things done for myself and my large family (especially while we currently do not have a washer and dryer).

CHECK OUT THIS BUSINESS FOR SURE! I CANT RECOMMEND THEM ENOUGH!
