Basalt out in the wild, seen here installing a large drainfield replacement for an assisted care facility in kuna. Sometimes we must dig down and remove hard layers to access better soils for drainage If those layers exist below 4 ft clean ASTM sand is uses to "bridge" that depth gap, then drainrock and perforated pipe are installed on top of that sand. A beautiful week to spend running material and installing for our community.
