5. Pressure Washing: If appropriate for your vehicle, use a pressure washer at a safe distance to clean the engine bay, being cautious around sensitive components.
6. Steam Cleaning: For a deep clean, consider steam cleaning. It effectively removes grime without excessive moisture.
7. Conditioning Plastics and Rubbers: After cleaning, apply a specialized protectant to plastic and rubber parts to restore their appearance and protect against UV damage.
8. Polishing Metal Components: Use metal polish on aluminum or chrome parts to restore shine and protect against corrosion.
9. Detailing Engine Covers: If applicable, remove engine covers for a thorough clean and polish, then reattach securely.
10. Final Touches: Wipe down all surfaces with a microfiber towel and consider a final spray of protectant on painted surfaces to enhance shine.
