Erica - Independent Scentsy Consultant

My story begins when I fell in love with Scentsy! I was introduced to Scentsy through my sister Eryn, who lives in Oklahoma. When I went to visit her I saw that she had them and I loved them. They were not only beautiful but had so many different styles to choose from and many different scents. Once I returned to Florida I discovered a Scentsy consultant lived one street over from me, her name was

Kimberley Tucker. Needless to say I was hooked. Three years later I took the plunge and started my own Scentsy business with Kimberley as my sponsor, mentor and friend. It is fun to help people beautify their homes and offices. Now that my business has launched and I am having so much fun with it I felt that I should do something with the money I was making from Scentsy. I knew exactly where some of my pay should go. We have been supporting a couple who are missionaries in Cameroon through our church East Coast Christian Center. Last year the couple was taking over the management of an orphanage called Grace Tait Shelter (GTS) in Cameroon that was ready to close due to the lack of funding. Reading the story of GTS and the struggles and hardships of having to turn children back out onto the streets because they couldn't be cared for heart wrenching. We had to do something, I am happy to say that many people were moved enough to commit to supporting this endeavor and they now were able to get back all of the 12 children and add 7 more to total 19. All of the school age children are attending school. They now have 3 meals a day instead of just the one they used to have. They are learning about the love of Jesus and are growing in their faith as well! God has blessed them and their ministry at GTS. I have pledged 10% of my Scentsy pay, not profit, to support them! I am so excited to help this ministry grow. My customers have no idea this is what is happening ~ but once they read this they will.
