⏰ Enjoy that extra hour of sleep, South Jersey? While you're resetting the clocks, two quick jobs:

1. Flip your ceiling fans to clockwise on low. (Looking up at the fan, the blades should turn clockwise. Most have a small switch on the motor housing.) It pushes warm air down off the ceiling, so your heat doesn't work as hard.
2. Dust the blades first. Turn the fan off and make sure your step stool is steady, then slide an old pillowcase over each blade and pull back. The dust stays in the pillowcase instead of landing on your couch.

Bonus: test your smoke detectors while you're already up there, and swap any batteries that need it. 🔔

This Memorial Day, we pause to remember and honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country — from the Revolutionary War to the Civil War, and every conflict since.
