From Jamie....

Multi-colored Asian lady beetles is what they are. The Japanese beetles look like a miniature June bug. I’m an exterminator by trade and I have nothing to offer for control. We can kill them when they come in, but they swarm in from the countryside and there is absolutely nothing I can do about it. Pretty frustrating!!

Side note: They have to come in contact with the product from the underside of their shell. The multitudes that we have had lately would overwhelm any product that is put down either inside a home or outside. Nothing can be done for the swarming.

Another side note: Jamie was in on a discussion about these pesky little dudes at a “bug convention”. They were introduced to a state west of here by that state’s department of AG to control a crop aphid. They decided they like Missouri as well. Thank them.

We apologize for the lady beetle apocalypse.
They can’t be killed. We have them too. They are everywhere. Here’s a few tips......
Vacuum like a wild animal.
Clean the vacuum. They stink.
Don’t smash them on the ceiling unless you want to paint.
Keep the doors closed.
Don’t open your mouth outside.
Pray for cooler weather to stay.
