When I chose colors for this home many years ago, my new palette gave it a European vibe; understated and elegant. Called back over 20 years later, the homeowners want a new look as they are now in a different place in their lives, and their taste has changed over time. Creating a new color palette for them now, I’m excited to share the new look I came up with, painting starts in 2 weeks, I can’t wait!

It’s time to think about painting outside before the temperatures turn cooler. On this home I was called to choose colors after the painting started! We discussed their goals, they went with my color suggestions (reversing the light trim to dark and going in a different color family) and in just a few days it was all done! After a week of excitement. they loved their homes new look!

An elegant home that is very unique, these homeowners wanted to go from the weak colors they had to colors that made a bold and elegant statement. I chose rich cordovan with contrasting colors to bring out all their homes unique features! They could not be more excited with the results!

Softer colors can be more inviting when the colors are done well. For those who think more color is better; I have a different approach. I consider what the homeowner wants the new color palette to accomplish. The BEFORE image has 14 black shutters and a hot pink door, it’s too much. My AFTER palette is more inviting with quieter colors. A more welcoming curb appeal was our goal, and that’s exactly how it came out
