🤎 ANOTHER CLEANER’S SUCCESS IS NOT YOUR FAILURE.

It’s easy to see someone announce a new client, hire an employee, or celebrate a business milestone and quietly wonder, “Am I doing enough?”

But you’re seeing their announcement not everything it took to get there. And their goals may look nothing like yours.

A full schedule might be their dream.
A shorter workweek might be yours.
Neither makes one business more successful than the other.

Here’s something worth practicing: **when comparison shows up, turn it into curiosity.

Instead of “Why them and not me?” ask:
💡 “Is there something I can learn?”
💡 “Do I actually want what they’re building?”
💡 “What would progress look like in MY business?”

You can congratulate someone without being behind. You can share knowledge without losing your value. You can support another cleaner and still stand out.

That’s what collaboration over competition looks like in everyday life not just in a slogan.

🤎 SUPPORT DOESN’T ALWAYS COME WITH A MOP AND BUCKET. 🤎

Some CCC chapters are making a difference through free community cleanings and we love seeing that! 🧹✨

But did you know there are other meaningful ways to support one another?

👍 Like and engage with a fellow member’s business page and personal posts.
📣 Share their business with your community.
💡 Offer a cleaning tip or resource that made your work easier.
☕ Organize a casual coffee meetup.
🤝 Pass along a referral when a job isn’t the right fit.
💬 Check in and ask, “How’s business and how are YOU?”

Not everyone has the capacity to donate a cleaning. That doesn’t mean they have nothing to give. Sometimes a connection, an encouraging comment, or a shared opportunity makes a bigger difference than you realize.

Collaboration over competition starts with the little things.🤎

A little update on The County Cleaner Connection.

I got the news that our fiscal sponsorship application was not approved.

I’m not going to pretend I wasn’t disappointed, because I was. We’ve put so much heart, time, work, and hope into building this.

But the reason for the denial actually gave me some perspective.

CCC has grown beyond the scope of what that local sponsorship program is designed to support. What started as something small has already expanded into multiple counties, multiple states, chapter leaders, community cleanings, partnerships, and a much bigger vision than where we began.

So this isn’t the end.

It just means we have to take a different route.

Instead of trying to fit The County Cleaner Connection into something smaller, we’re going to keep building toward what it was meant to become.

The goal is still the same:
to connect cleaners, strengthen our industry, give back to our communities, create opportunities, and build something that can grow far beyond one county.

This part is definitely a setback. 😓
But sometimes a “no” is really just direction.

So… back to work. 💙🧡

We’re still building.

📣 A little County Cleaner Connection leadership update!

I’m so excited to officially share that Ashley has stepped up to serve as Secretary for The County Cleaner Connection! 🤍

As we continue building this organization from the ground up, one of the biggest pieces has been finding people who believe in the vision enough to step forward and help build it with us!

The County Cleaner Connection is growing into something so much bigger than just a directory or a group of cleaners. We’re building a nationwide community centered around collaboration, education, professionalism, community service, and creating more opportunities for cleaners in this industry.

And that takes a TEAM.

Ashley stepping into the Secretary role means one more important seat is being filled as we continue working toward our nonprofit structure and building a strong foundation for everything we want CCC to become.

I’m incredibly grateful to have her beside us for this part of the journey. 💙

We are so excited to officially welcome TWO more Florida counties to the Connection — Alachua County and Marion County! 🎉

Leading both chapters will be Tiffany Johnson of Etc. Cleaning, LLC

Tiffany has been in business for 4 years, is licensed and insured, and brings exactly the kind of heart we want in our leaders — a desire to educate, support, encourage, and help other local cleaners grow.

She already gives back within her service areas through discounted cleanings, and we’re excited to see what she builds as she connects cleaners throughout both communities.

If you clean in Alachua County, Marion County, Gainesville, Ocala, or the surrounding areas, this is your invitation to get connected. 🤝
