𝑫𝒆𝒔𝒄𝒓𝒊𝒑𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏:

We're seeking an experienced CDL Driver with a strong understanding of underground utility construction to join our close-knit team. In this role, you'll operate heavy equipment carriers, vacuum trucks, and material transport vehicles essential to our sewer, septic, and horizontal boring operations. Your expertise will ensure timely delivery of specialized equipment and materials to residential and commercial job sites, directly supporting our field crews in completing critical infrastructure projects. This position combines professional driving skills with practical knowledge of underground utility construction.

𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀:

•Safely transport specialized underground utility equipment (boring machines, excavators, pumps) and materials (pipe, gravel, sand) to active job sites
•Operate vacuum trucks, water trucks, and other specialized vehicles used in underground utility work
•Perform thorough pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections of specialized utility equipment
•Assist utility crews with loading/unloading of heavy pipe, fittings, and tools specific to sewer and water work
•Maintain detailed logs of transport activities in compliance with DOT regulations
•Support excavation teams by delivering and positioning essential materials at precise locations on job sites
•Communicate effectively with project foremen about site conditions, access challenges, and delivery schedules
•Demonstrate knowledge of underground utility safety protocols, including awareness of buried line markings and excavation safety
•Maintain vehicles critical to sewer and water operations, ensuring they're clean, organized, and ready for immediate deployment

𝐑𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬:

•Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL Class A preferred) with clean driving record
•2+ years experience driving trucks in underground utility, excavation, or related field
•Knowledge of DOT regulations specific to construction and utility vehicles
•Experience operating or transporting specialized equipment such as backhoes, mini-excavators, or boring machines
•Understanding of basic underground utility work, pipe systems, or excavation procedures
•Physical capability to assist with loading/unloading heavy pipes and materials (50+ lbs)
•Ability to navigate challenging job site terrain and position vehicles precisely in tight residential areas
•Strong problem-solving skills to address access challenges at diverse work sites
•Willing to work in various weather conditions as required by utility emergency response needs
•Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
