No experience is necessary, however a passion for quality beverages is a huge plus! Once your initial paid training is completed, you will design your own route/schedule of assigned clients in association with the Operations Manager, and when necessary, assist with new installations, major repairs, and service calls.

Draft Tech Responsibilities and Duties

While having copious amounts of fun, we work hard. In order to be the market leader, it's imperative to maintain high quality control standards by adhering to The Brewers Associations guidelines & Tap Buddy's best practices. Bring your solid work ethic, friendly disposition, and passion for craft beer and we'll do awesome things for the brewers, retailers, and consumers in Dane County!.
While you do design your own route/schedule, typical work hours are M-F, 5:00 AM - NOON as most of our work must be completed during our clients' off hours.
Minimum Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- A valid driver's license and insured, reliable transportation
- Must be 21 years or older
- Ability to pass a comprehensive criminal background check
- References will be requested
- Ability to communicate professionally and clearly with manager and co-workers via phone, text, email, and in person while maintaining a positive attitude
- Strong written and verbal skills in the English language
- Mechanically inclined with strong trouble shooting skills
- Customer service skills and/or friendly disposition
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to lift 75 pounds without assistance; up to 150 pounds with assistance
- Ability to bend and twist up to 35% of the day
- Ability to sit or stand for at least 60 minutes
- A passion for beer is a plus (passion > knowledge, we'll teach you probably more than you want to know about draft beer)
- Not afraid of a dirty job, occasionally in a cold/wet environment
- Experience with physical trades or fitness is a plus
- A desire to be active on a daily basis is a must
