Hi, all!

We’re pulling back to back sales; this Thursday, Friday, and Saturday (11th, 12th, 13th) we will be hosting another sale 🙌🏼

This is the estate of longtime veterinarian, Dr. David Cobb and his wife, Tori Cobb. Dr. Cobb was an avid outdoorsman and had a great medical mind, which was a great benefit to the people & furry friends of Machias. The couple enjoyed the outdoors, raising their children to hunt, fish, and respect the land. They worked side by side in the vet clinic for years and enjoyed a beautiful relationship. At their estate, you will find vintage glassware, fishing equipment, hunting equipment, woodworking tools, beautiful artwork, and more. There’s truly something for everyone here.

It’s an honor to be able to assist families in their transition periods. I get to know deeply special people, even after their passing. This is a special place, full of memories, and we are excited to see these items find new homes.

Location: 93 Stagecoach Road, East Machias

Times: 9-2 Thursday, Friday, and Saturday

Items: Glassware, flat bottomed fishing boat with trolling motor, vintage artwork, fishing lures, hunting equipment, and more!

We will accept card & cash! Cards do have a 3% processing fee, so please be prepared for this.

We’ve got treasures for everyone at 704 Main Street in Calais.

Hours are Thursday & Friday from 9-2 and Saturday from 9-1! I adjusted the time on Saturday slightly.

Free hour will be from noon to one on Saturday!

Please stay out of the driveway for pickups, bring your bags and your friends, and let’s clear this house out 🫶🏼

It’s been a slow winter, but we’re back with a vengeance with not one, but TWO estate sales!

We are confirmed on both of these sales and I can finally share dates! It’s going to be a busy June 🙌🏼

Calais: June 4th, 5th, & 6th 9-2 each day
This was a former B&B with nice furniture, some home goods, basement with tools and gardening supplies, and a shed with women’s clothing and outdoor furniture and additional gardening supplies. I’ll post pictures early next week!

East Machias: June 11th, 12th, & 13th 9-2 each day
A home of a long time outdoorsman. This is filled with hunting and fishing gear, outdoor equipment, a nice snowblower, furniture, collectible dishes, and a lot of unique art that’s perfect for a hunter or a camp! I’ll be posting photos as I continue organizing and arranging.

Looking forward to kicking off the summer with a couple of awesome sales 😊

The holidays are FAST approaching, and the winter is officially here in Downeast Maine 🎄❄️

I was decorating my home for Christmas today and I got such a kick out of my decorations that I’ve found, either by thrifting, estate sales hosted by other companies, or my own estate sales for clients. My home is filled with things that have been well-loved, and that makes me happy.

Part of the joy of this business is helping steward a home full of memories and giving items new life in other homes. Call me sentimental, it’s a compliment 😜

And that’s a WRAP!

Well, technically we wrapped on Monday, but it was a busy week of birthday celebrations, thanksgiving prep, and a big ole’ feast with family yesterday 😜

We hope everyone had a wonderful holiday with family! I am so thankful for all my customers, and clients that have made the transition from cleaning to estate sales SO fun and fulfilling!

I wanted to share what happened after the sale with you all, because there are often questions like “where will all the leftover stuff go?”

- we were able to host two hours of everything free, in which a local family scored a new entertainment center, TV, and DVD player, and grandparents found baby gear and were able to take it home for their sweet grand baby! Others found small tools and cleaning products that will surely be used.
- we gave dishes, some lamps, a clothing rack and hangers to a local community shop in Jonesport. All items will be offered to the public for a small donation, or free, depending on what can be afforded.
- we took two pieces of furniture to the dump, but managed to salvage a beautiful piece of granite from the top of a cabinet. The rest of the cabinet couldn’t make it out of the house without being disassembled.
- miscellaneous trash and garage and barn garbage was also taken to the dump. We managed to take a small dump trailer load to the dump, and that’s IT!

Part of the fun of sales is seeing how on earth we will find homes for the remaining items. My goal is to keep the landfills from being overloaded with items that can be used by someone. We will always do a couple of hours free before we take anything to the dump.

If any of our followers are affiliated with local nonprofits that could use donations, please don’t hesitate to reach out! We are so thankful for the support of our community, and want to return the favor. Additionally, if you utilize scrap metal, wood, or other small building scraps, please reach out! I’d rather see “trash” be used by someone in a fun and unique way, than lining a dumpster.

As always, thank you from the bottom of my heart for your support at this last sale! It was a roaring success and I can’t wait to do it again ✨
