🐍 A little clue from nature...

One of our technicians recently found this shed snake skin near a rodent bait station.

While seeing a snake skin can be surprising, it's often a sign that rodents have been active in the area. Rodents provide a reliable food source for snakes, so where mice and rats are plentiful, snakes may follow.

That's one reason ongoing rodent management is important. Reducing rodent activity around your home can help make your property less attractive to other unwanted wildlife as well.

One travel souvenir nobody wants to bring home… bed bugs.

With summer travel picking up, we like to remind people of something important:

𝐁𝐞𝐝 𝐛𝐮𝐠𝐬 𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐞𝐧 𝐭𝐨 𝐚𝐧𝐲𝐨𝐧𝐞.

They are hitchhikers, not a sign of poor housekeeping, and they can show up in clean homes, hotels, apartments, and many other places.

If you suspect bed bugs after traveling, don’t panic—and 𝒅𝒐𝒏’𝒕 𝒓𝒖𝒔𝒉 𝒕𝒐 𝒔𝒕𝒐𝒓𝒆-𝒃𝒐𝒖𝒈𝒉𝒕 𝒔𝒑𝒓𝒂𝒚𝒔 𝒂𝒔 𝒂 𝒇𝒊𝒓𝒔𝒕 𝒔𝒕𝒆𝒑.

This Memorial Day, we pause to honor and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country.

From all of us at Old Town Pest Control, thank you to those who have served and to the families who carry their legacy forward.

Our office will be closed Monday in observance of Memorial Day, and we will resume normal business hours on Tuesday.

From the busy, day-to-day of raising kids to the lifelong role of being a mom, it’s a job that never really slows down. The care, attention to detail, and dedication you bring to your families show up in everything you do, and it doesn’t go unnoticed.
