They tried to ruin my name this weekend.

Not quietly.
Not privately.
Not with a conversation, a question, or even a shred of curiosity.

No—this was louder than truth. Messier than facts. Sharper than integrity.

This was character assassination dressed up as “honesty.”

And here’s the thing about people who come for your character:
They rarely know your character at all.

They know a moment.
A story they’ve twisted.
A version of events that conveniently edits out your humanity.

Because it’s easier to label someone “shady” than it is to sit in the discomfort of not being centered, not being prioritized, or not getting what you expected.

It’s easier to tear down than to understand.

But let me be clear about something—
My character is not built on your opinion of me.

It’s built in the early mornings when I show up anyway.
It’s built in the promises I keep when no one’s watching.
It’s built in the way I treat people who can offer me nothing in return.

It’s built over years.

You don’t get to rewrite that in a weekend.

There’s a specific kind of person who tries to ruin others publicly.
They don’t want resolution.
They want an audience.

They don’t want truth.
They want control of the narrative.

And when you refuse to shrink, apologize for things you didn’t do, or perform for their version of events…
you become their target.

But here’s the uncomfortable truth they don’t expect:

Trying to destroy someone with integrity usually backfires.

Because people who are grounded don’t panic.
They don’t scramble.
They don’t burn everything down in response.

They stand.

They let time do what time always does—
reveal patterns, expose intentions, and separate noise from truth.

And if you’re reading this because someone has tried to drag your name through the dirt too…

Hear me:

You do not need to defend your entire life to people committed to misunderstanding you.

You do not need to over-explain your integrity.

You do not need to shrink your voice to make someone else comfortable with their own projections.

What you do need is this:

Stay consistent.
Stay honest.
Stay rooted in who you actually are—not who they’re trying to turn you into.

Because character isn’t proven in moments like these.

It’s revealed.

And the people who matter?
They’re not looking at the noise.

They’re looking at the pattern.

So let them talk.

Let them post.
Let them spin their version.

And then go live your life so fully, so truthfully, and so unapologetically…

that their story about you collapses under the weight of who you actually are.

STREAK-FREE GLASS & MIRRORS

If your windows or mirrors always look worse after you clean them, you’re not alone.

Here’s a simple professional method to get clear, streak-free glass every time:

DIY Streak-Free Glass Spray:
- 2 cups distilled water
- 1/4 cup isopropyl alcohol (70% or 91%)
- 1–2 drops Dawn dish soap

Mix gently (do not shake vigorously).

How to use:
- Lightly mist glass or mirror (avoid oversaturating)
- Wipe with a clean microfiber cloth
- Immediately buff dry with a second dry cloth
- Clean in shade or cooler conditions when possible

Pro tip: Less soap is better. Too much causes streaking.

This is the same method used in professional cleaning to achieve a clear, polished finish.

If you’re in the Denver area and need help with consistent, eco-friendly cleaning for your home or office, feel free to reach out.

Real talk: this stuff smells terrible.

But if you’ve got hard water buildup, Scum Bum works.

Spray it, let it sit for 5 minutes, and it cuts right through the grime. No scrubbing forever.

It’s not cheap—but it’s concentrated, so it lasts a long time.

Eco-friendly and actually effective… just don’t expect it to smell pretty.

People sometimes think cleaning is just a job.

But the truth is… it’s so much more than that.

Every woman on this team has her own story, her own challenges, her own life outside of work. And yet, every day we show up. We walk into homes, bring order to chaos, create calm where there was stress, and give people something they desperately need — peace in their space.

That takes heart.

It takes strength to show up when life is hard and still give your best to someone else. It takes compassion to care about the homes and families we serve the way this team does.

What we do might look simple from the outside, but the impact is real. A clean home can change someone’s whole day, sometimes even their whole week.

And being part of a team that chooses to do that for others… that’s something truly special.

This work is honest. It’s meaningful. And it’s something we’re incredibly proud of. 💚

Before hiring a cleaning company, schedule the walk-through.

It may seem easier to send square footage and get a quote, but if a company doesn’t want to see your space first, that’s a 🚩.

A proper walk-through isn’t about selling — it’s about alignment. It gives you the chance to meet the owner or manager, ask what supplies they use, discuss insurance and coverage, and talk through your specific needs. Every home and office is different, and pricing without seeing the space often leads to misunderstandings.

This is someone coming into your home or business regularly. You should feel comfortable, clear on expectations, and confident they can customize the service to you.

The walk-through protects both sides. If a company values your space, they’ll value that step.

Am I Loving The People I
Lead.

1. Love is patient.

Am I giving others the same room to make mistakes as I want them to give me?

2. Love is kind.

Do the people I lead actually like being around me?

3. Love always protects.

Do I have my staff’s back? It’s discouraging to work for someone who demands loyalty but will not extend it.

4. Love always trusts.

Do I believe the people who lead their assigned areas can make day to day decisions without my input?

5. Love always hopes.

Do I always automatically assume the worst or the best about people? It is amazing what can happen when the leader believes in the people he leads.

6. Love always perseveres.

Am I quick to give up on people after they make one mistake, or am I willing to teach them through it?

7. Love never fails.

Do I have a high turnover or a low turnover in the number of people who work with me/for me? If the number is high then maybe it isn’t the people failing.

People will not remember us for what we accomplish. But they will remember how we made them feel and what we helped them to accomplish. This leadership style is guaranteed to see results. 1 Corinthians 13:8 says love will not fail. Leadership by love is the most excellent way.

Owning a business with a team is not for the weak.

People see the finished work, the growth, the wins, and the highlight moments — but they don’t see the decisions made at 5 a.m., the sleepless nights wondering if you did the right thing, or the weight of knowing other people’s livelihoods are connected to yours.

Leading humans means navigating personalities, emotions, expectations, mistakes, and sometimes disappointment — including your own. You learn quickly that doing your best doesn’t always mean everyone will understand your intentions, and that being a business owner requires both a soft heart and a strong backbone.

I started this journey with pure intentions: to build something meaningful, create opportunity, and make a positive impact. And I still lead from that place every single day. But leadership also means making hard calls, setting boundaries, and persevering even when it would be easier to quit.

Growth isn’t comfortable. Integrity isn’t always popular. And perseverance is often quiet and unseen.

To every small business owner showing up, learning as you go, caring deeply, and continuing forward despite challenges — I see you.

We’re human first. And we keep going anyway. 💛

To say I’ve endured a hard month would be the understatement of the year. This beautiful little package was dropped at my door by one of my amazing contractors today. It’s amazing how acts of appreciation and kindness can turn it all around! I’m so blessed!! ♥️

If you’re hiring a cleaning company for your home or office, there’s one question you should always ask:

“Are you insured?”

Here’s why it matters more than you think. 👇🏻

Accidents happen — even to the best cleaners.
We work around water, ladders, delicate surfaces, high-end finishes, pets, and electronics. If something is accidentally damaged, proper insurance ensures it’s handled professionally and responsibly.

It shows professionalism and legitimacy.
Insurance isn’t cheap. Companies that carry proper coverage are investing in their business and in protecting their clients. It’s a strong indicator that they take their work seriously and operate as a legitimate business.

It creates accountability.
Reputable companies carry general liability coverage so that if something unexpected happens, there is a clear process to resolve it.

Peace of mind matters.
You’re trusting someone in your home or office. You deserve to know the company working in your space is operating responsibly and ethically.

As a business owner, insurance is non-negotiable for me. It protects my clients, the contractors I partner with, and my company.

When comparing cleaning services, don’t just compare hourly rates. Compare protection. Compare professionalism. Compare peace of mind.

Because the cheapest option can quickly become the most expensive mistake
