There are moments when words simply don't feel big enough.

Tragedy has struck our small town, and while our hearts are heavy for a family facing an unimaginable loss, we have also witnessed something truly remarkable. The strength, compassion, and generosity of our village.

Over the past few days, community members have stepped forward without hesitation. Some have offered donations. Others have given up their cleaning appointments so that a family in need can receive support. Many have reached out asking, "How can I help?" The willingness of so many people to put someone else's needs before their own has been nothing short of incredible.

At Maid in a Small Town, we have always believed that it takes a village. We are committed to showing up during life's hardest seasons, but seeing our community rally around one of our own reminds us that we are never carrying that responsibility alone.

No one should ever have to walk through such a devastating journey. Yet when we wrap our arms around those who are hurting, when we show up with meals, prayers, donations, kindness, and support, we remind them that they do not have to walk it alone.

To every person who has offered help, shared resources, prayed, donated, rearranged schedules, or simply shown up with a caring heart...thank you. Thank you for being helpers. Thank you for being neighbors. Thank you for proving that even in the darkest moments, love shines through.

Today, and every day, I am proud to be from Putnam County.

Summer time means I have extra hands! My 13 year old son, Liam came and helped me on an apartment turnover today. He was such a big help! Having a boy that is willing to work hard💪🏻 (and do a good job at it) is such a blessing! Quality bonding and some hard earned cash was on today’s agenda! I’d say he’s a happy camper! ❤️

Jamie has been part of the Maid in a Small Town team for 3 months and brings such a kind, caring energy to every clean. 💗 She loves building connections with both our clients and co-workers and takes pride in helping take tasks off our clients’ plates.

When she’s not working, Jamie enjoys spending time with her daughter, thrifting, antique shopping, scrapbooking, and photography. We are so thankful to have her as part of our village! 🫶
