REPAIR THE LATEST WINDOWS 10 UPDATE PROBLEM 10/27/2025

The latest Windows 10 update will disable the ability to see mapped networked drives when you are trying to save-as or print pdf files from Auto-cad, Microsoft Office, and several other programs. It also disables being able to see network drives inside Blue-beam. The ability to insert files from a network drive onto a pdf inside Bluebeam is also disabled because of this.
This is how you fix it. It worked. The abridged version is that you are going to create a new registry key to turn back on the ability to see network drives from various programs when printed or file-saving.

Doing a repair on Auto-cad or Blue-beam or Microsoft Office for example does not repair the issue. It is a hard coded in the latest Windows 10 update that in my view is a major bug. This will undo the problem and get things back to normal before the last update on October 15th.

Causes:
Enable Linked connection registry missing.

Solution:
To enable the link of Mapped network drive do the following:
----------------------------
1. Press Windows key + R on the keyboard to bring up the Run window, enter REGEDIT and click OK.
2. Navigate to: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System
3. Right-click System and choose New > DWORD value.
4. Type EnableLinkedConnections and press Enter.
5. Double-click (or right-click > Modify) on EnableLinkedConnections.
6. In the 'Value data' field, type "1" and then click OK.
7. Close the Registry Editor and restart the computer.
I did not have to restart the computer, It started working almost immediately. But if you want to restart and reset all your network drives you can do that as a fail safe.

I have spent several hours trying to fix this the past few days and now I have it documented. I hope this saves you guys some time if you are running across the same problem.

THE SOLAR PANEL SCAM 10/10/2025

My response to the new solar panel approval resolutions we are going to have to include in our rule book(s), because of action by the Nevada Legislature, is attached. As an HOA we can not deny the installation of solar panels. We can however advise the homeowners against such a foolish idea. For some reason CAI is all for the big solar panel lie. Instead of expanding the installation of these dangerous products we should be banning the sale as such.

I did not include any references to any groups or organizations that support this nonsense. Just like battery powered cars and windmill technology, solar is a fad. It is the most expensive method currently available to produce electricity. Everybody knows this. I just list the facts on the opposing side of the big green lie. I would also refer to commentary by the CEO of Toyota Corporation. He is not on board with electric vehicles because of the toxic waste produced by millions and millions of batteries. He is focused on hydro electric technology for the future of passenger vehicles.

Rapidly deterioration of windmills and solar farms is also a major issue. Toxic waste from the plastic and chemicals in the blades and panels when these things fall apart, kill birds, animals and people if they are in the way when one explodes into a thousand pcs. I have seen it happen in west Texas. Then they just dig a hole in the ground, pay off the ranch owner, and keep on with their Ponzi scheme. Well, Charles Ponzi wasn’t that bad of a guy compared to the green energy nuts. I need to come up with another comparison to fraud.

Since Elon Musk is pro-unlimited first amendment (as it should be) I am going to attempt to figure out how to use his platform. I have had articles taken down on Linkedin. Stories deleted from FB and flagged as "not meeting our standards" and put in FB jail on several occasions because "somebody" does not understand humor from this amateur comedian. I will pay the 7 bucks and get verified. People like my storys when they can see them. Many more like my humor. So it will be. Unfiltered. God Save the King. I mean. Elon Musk of course.

Greetings. I finally got fed up with the ribbon enough to take time and start fixing it back to something more useful. If yall want a copy when I finish it completely Ill send it to you. I am gradually putting the color buttons back into the main menu. I started fixing a connection toolbar and I have changed out and put icons back on the "use current connection" buttons, bolts, welds, numbering, etc. that sort of thing. I also put the names of things back like they used to be, like Drawing List. I built this in 2017i and have gotten it to work in 2019 and 2020.
